'Intergalactic Soul'

Intergalactic Soul is a multimedia exhibition that tells the story of two young Black space travelers who journey across the cosmos in search of their history and heritage to ensure a better future for themselves. The exhibition, which presents contemporary conversations about Black American experiences, features the work of Jason Woodberry, Quentin Talley, and Marcus Kiser.

The exhibition uses the aesthetic and conceptual prisms of popular science fiction and comics to chronicle the various adventures of fictional characters Astro and Pluto. It explores a cosmic sci-fi theme driven by social, political, and cultural undertones. The works not only dignify the bodies and experiences of people of color but also present them in an empowered future.
