Curated Conversations EP 10 featuring April Bey

Black On Black Project Curated Conversations EP 10 featuring April Bey.

Los Angeles-based contemporary visual artist and arts educator April Bey joins Curated Conversations to discuss growing up in the Caribbean, her annual trips to Ghana and how she’s working/teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic. Bey has worked with the Black On Black Project on exhibitions and programming including “Black On Black V3.”

Bey is scheduled to appear in the upcoming exhibition "Floating Rib" at The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas. It was supposed to open April 16 but has been rescheduled due to COVID-19.

Curated Conversations features Black On Black Project founder Michael S. Williams chatting with people in the art community about their art practice and other related topics. Watch the entire Curated Conversations series here.
