Curated Conversations EP 2 featuring Anthony Patterson

Black On Black Project Curated Conversations EP 2: Anthony Patterson.

The Durham native discusses how his art helps to uncover some of the “forgotten” history in the community, specifically his home neighborhood on Crest Street.

Patterson has been part of several Black On Black Project exhibitions including “BOBV2,” “Full Circle,” "The Perspective of the 'Others,’" “Paradigm Shifts of Public Spaces: Wilmington,“ “Have You Heard…” and more.

Note/correction: In this episode, Patterson mentions the "founder of NC A&T" as being a Williston High School grad. He was referencing a notable alum from Williston, Joseph McNeil, who was one of the Greensboro Four and not a founder of the historically black college.

Curated Conversations features Black On Black Project founder Michael S. Williams chatting with people in the art community about their art practice and other related topics through Instagram Live. Follow Black On Black Project’s Instagram account.
