Join us on First Friday, April 5 to celebrate the opening of “I Feel Like That” by artist Telvin Wallace at Raleigh Arts' Block Gallery, located in City Hall in downtown Raleigh. The address is 222 W Hargett St., Raleigh. RSVP on the Facebook event here.

The reception will be from 6 to 8 p.m., where you can see the artwork and meet the artist. Make this your first stop on the First Friday Art Walk before heading to First Friday at Union Station, VAE Raleigh’s #BOBV3 (curated by Black On Black Project’s Mike Williams) at the old Amtrak Offices and much more on the art walk.

“I Feel Like That” is on view until May 31 and presented by The Black on Black Project at Raleigh Arts' Block Gallery. The exhibition features portraiture exploring issues surrounding mental health. Drawing from personal experiences, Wallace begins a conversation on a subject that is too often neglected by society. Learn More about the exhibition here.

We hope to see you on First Friday. You can RSVP on the Facebook event here.
