Join NCSU Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture Kofi Boone as he shares the design process for the South Park Heritage Walk Project, a partnership between the South Park - East Raleigh Neighborhood Association and NC State College of Design and Linguistics Program, that seeks to preserve the rich historic character and culture of Raleigh's South Park community. The plan for the Heritage Walk weaves together green concepts of landscaping and water treatment while providing a vision for increasing economic and educational opportunities in the community. Kofi's presentation will provide insight into this specific project and speak to the importance of preserving the "black landscapes" of our urban environments.
